SMS Communications
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Aestrable provides communication infrastructure for aesthetic clinics and medical spas. Clinics using Aestrable may send SMS messages to their own patients for appointment-related, account-related, and customer-care communications.
Types of messages
Depending on how a clinic configures Aestrable, SMS messages may include:
- appointment confirmations
- appointment reminders
- scheduling updates
- intake and follow-up communications
- post-visit instructions
- patient support conversations
- account verification codes
How patients provide consent
Patients consent to receive SMS messages directly through clinics using Aestrable. Consent may be collected through clinic intake forms, booking workflows, patient communication agreements, account registration, or existing patient communication processes.
Clinics may collect consent through online or paper intake forms, booking requests, account registration, signed patient communication agreements, or direct written/verbal consent documented by the clinic.
Opt-out and help
Patients may reply STOP to opt out at any time. Patients may reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies based on the patient's relationship with the clinic. Message and data rates may apply.
Example messages
The following are representative examples of messages a clinic may send through Aestrable:
- “Your appointment with Aestrable Partner Clinic is confirmed for May 24 at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Reminder: your consultation is tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
